SUMMARY:SMART Ribbon Cutting
DESCRIPTION:“This shelter reflects the kind of investment that moves a city forward,” said John Rhaesa, Mayor of Wayne. “It provides safer, more reliable access to transit for our seniors, students, and workforce. That access translates directly into stronger neighborhoods and a more connected local economy. We are proud to partner with SMART on improvements that enhance daily life and support long-term growth in the City of Wayne.”\n“Transit infrastructure like this new SMART shelter is critical to connecting people with jobs, businesses with customers, and communities with opportunity,” said Chelsea Rushlow, President of the City of Wayne Chamber of Commerce. “Reliable, accessible public transportation drives local economic growth and makes it easier for Wayne’s businesses and workforce to thrive. We’re proud to partner with SMART and the City of Wayne on investments that strengthen our region’s economic vitality.”\n
